Evening Primrose Oil for Hormonal Acne
I previously done a blog post about acne remedies that I found on different blogs and seemed to work great for some people. I read that evening primrose oil is supposed to calm down hormonal acne and I get it pretty bad sometimes. Apparently your face and your acne can be split into sections, each section of your face can mean different things if you usually break out in that certain area. The chin area is supposed to have something to do with your hormones. I am coming 25 and having spots at this age is just ridiculous so I am willing to try everything and anything that I can to try and get rid of it.
Holland & Barrett recently had their "buy one get one half price" sale so I decided to pay it a little visit. They had evening primrose oil in capsules so I thought it would be better than having to take a spoon full of sugar to help the medicine go down. There were two options; 1000mg or 1300mg. I am not 100% sure what this means but I am guessing it is the strength/concentration. The blog post I found suggested to take 3 a day of 1000mg. So I went ahead and got 4 bottles containing 120 capsules. Online do a bottle with 240 but the shop didn't have any, sad face!!
I am planning on taking 3 a day, each with food so my wee supply should hopefully last me for 160 days (if my maths isn't as bad as it usually is). I have even kept one bottle in work just in case I forget to take some with me or forget to take one in the morning.
I am going to try this for 3 months and then write a review on it, everyone seems to say to always try something for 3 months and then compare, as I am of course not expecting to see immediate results (although that would be pretty awesome). So I will let you guys know and if you have any home remedies or products that have worked for you then please let me know.

They are a lot easier than they look, they aren't hard like a powder tablet so they are so much easier to swallow.
