The Liebster Award

As a new blogger, this is actually quite exciting news for me :) I have been nominated for the Liebster Award by the gorgeous Lizzy and I really appreciate it :) thanks girl!!!

So you share 11 facts about yourself, answer the 11 questions that the blogger who tagged you has asked, you then tag 11 bloggers and ask your own 11 questions.

Facts about me;
1. Blue, white, grey, black & navy are usually the only colours I wear.
2. I get sweet & salty popcorn mixed at the cinema and they have actually now brought it out in packets in shops, happy Steph :)
3. I am from Belfast, Northern Ireland but I sometimes randomly have an American accent, too many Disney movies as a kid I think.
4. I LOVE penguins!!! They are just so cute & adorable and their waddle.....awwwww!
5. My music taste is totally varied and random. I like country to rock to 80's to cheesy 90's pop to what's in the charts.
6. I write with my right hand but use my left for everything else really like dribbling a basketball and playing guitar.
7. I have glow in the dark stars in my room and yes I am 24 years old. I also put them up in my boyfriend's bedroom but he doesn't mind lol i'm such a big kid.
8. I prefer American TV shows to British ones. 
9. I honestly was such a geek/nerd as a kid, one Christmas I got a telescope and a globe lamp. I read the Beano comics instead of girly magazines, I also collected an encyclopedia magazine every week that had so many different facts in it. It got to the point where I had so many that my mum made me donate them to our local library. 
10. I love fluffy socks, anything fluffy really; pj bottoms, jumpers, slippers. I just love being cozy and warm.
11. I don't drink tea or coffee at all really because I prefer cold drinks way more and literally fill the whole glass with ice.

Lizzy's questions;
1. Where would you go on your dream holiday? I would travel the backwards L of the U.S.A, so starting off in California across to Florida and then up through to Maine. Of course visiting Tennessee as well.
2. Do you collect anything? Well you could say I collect pictures, I love taking pictures everywhere I go so I can always look back at them when i'm older.
3. Who most inspires you? I just adore Lauren Conrad & Taylor Swift, they are my inspirations but also Ellen DeGeneres. 
4. Do you have a sweet tooth? I am more of a savoury person, I would pick a starter rather than a dessert but I do love fruit salad. I'm not a big chocolate fan, i'd rather have crisps but I do really like jelly tots, jelly belly beans & strawberry laces, yummy!!
5. What made you start blogging? I started blogging because I love Zoella's blog as she has so many beauty tips, but I thought a blog was a good idea to share my thoughts and meet some really cool people. I've always liked the idea of having one place to have everything from your ideas, to pictures & memories and even just to talk crap lol.
6. Which beauty brand do you have the most products from? I would say I have quite a lot of Rimmel, i'm not that big into make-up (although visiting new blogs all the time i'd say i'm definitely conforming).
7. Do you have any pet peeves? I hate rudeness in general, I hate when my sister steals my stuff and never asks permission lol, I also hate never having enough money to buy all the lovely things that I want :(
8. Have you learnt anything recently? Yes I have learned to not get involved in so much drama, I am so defensive over my friends and feel like I should always protect them so I usually stick my nose into business that isn't mine. So I have learned to just sit back and let karma deal with those awful people.
9. Is there a reason for your blog name? StephyDuck - One of my best friends in school, Hayley, used to call me it because I really liked ducks. I also used to call her HayloBunny, you can guess why.
10. Are there any beauty products you use daily and couldn't live without? I just love Collection concealer in medium, Rimmel 25 hour stay foundation in 200 soft beige and I can't leave the house without filling in my eyebrows with Benefit Brow Zings Brow Shaping Kit in medium.
11. What is your favourite item of clothing in your wardrobe and why? My favourite would have to be a little grey jumper that I picked up in the summer from Forever 21.
