Early Birthday Presents….To Myself, From Myself

So as you can probably tell from the title, I am super cool and have loads of friends. Lol I just decided to buy myself these my birthday is coming up and I thought they were such a cute idea.


The first present I got is called the Q and A a Day: 5-Year Journal and I got mine on Amazon. It is a diary, on every page/day there is a question. So for example on January 1st it asks; What is your mission? But the coolest part is that there are 5 separate spaces to answer, all with 20- so you can add the year e.g 20-14 and this gives you 5 different years to work with. I thought this was an amazing idea as you can look back over a few years of your life and see how your answer changes or doesn't. 

This next one is called The Happiness Project One-Sentence Journal: A Five-year Record and again I got this on Amazon. It is pretty much the same idea as the first one but it doesn't ask you a question. Instead it has a lovely little quote at the top of the page and you then just write a brief sentence about your day. There are also 5 spaces so you can look back over 5 years and remember things that you probably never would have otherwise. 

The reason I wanted to get these for my birthday is that I am turning 25 and I thought it would be pretty cool to write my last diary entries on my 30th. That way I get to look back and reflect on the last 5 years of my life. I just think it will be a really interesting thing to do and that hopefully I will write a few things down that will be some sort of use to me in the future (highly unlikely lol). 

I am going to keep them by my bed and hopefully write an entry every night before I go to sleep, the chances of me doing this are probably quite slim but I really want to try, I want to remember how I am feeling on that very day. 

I might even share a few entries with you guys but 5 years is a long way away. Who knows if blogging will even still be cool then? Is blogging even cool now? DUHHHH of course it is, don't be silly.
