East Hampton Party
When I found out I was going to be working in a summer camp, I couldn't wait to meet everyone. Luckily SRCC set up a Facebook page for the staff to all get to know each other before we got to camp. This was great because I was travelling internationally, I couldn't fit pillows or towels etc in my suitcase. Therefore I put up a post asking any of the staff if they were living locally or were bringing a car, would they be able to take me to a Walmart or somewhere on the first day. A lot of people kindly responded but one guy named Ethan private mailed me and told me he would take me. So as soon as I got to camp and got a bit settled, I gave him a ring. He lived in East Hampton which is like 40/45 minutes away from camp. Anyways, we got on pretty well and hit it off straight away. He also offered me a lift the next night to a party on the beach we were having at the camp house in Hampton Bays.
We started hanging out outside of camp all that week, going for lunch and drinks etc usually with Andrew, his friend who also worked at camp.
We went out for drinks one night with Alisa from camp and his friend Ricky to a place called The Blue Parrot. We went back to Ethan's, watched a movie and then the next day we all just hung about by the pool.
I had no swimming stuff so had to borrow Ethan's t-shirt and a pair of boxers lol.
Ethan had the idea that he would throw a party in his house and he invited me and the people I lived with in the cabins at camp. We were all super excited about it, I actually hung out with Ethan all day before the party so we went and got beer etc for later that night.
We went out for a drive in his brother's Porsche, he scared the crap out of me and managed to drive it at over 100mph.

Safe to say that his house is just crazy gorgeous. I showed people around and basically gave them a tour of the house.
We were playing beer bong on the porch outside, swimming in the pool and hot tube, drinking and just having an amazing time. Ethan's friends showed up which was cool because it meant that we could get to know more people who lived in the area.
So the party ended up being a wee bit crazy, as expected of course. Lots of people started showing up and it just got out of control. We were all supposed to be staying over, but I really didn't feel like staying over as huge parties just aren't my scene at all. So Laura offered to go home with me and 2 others wanted to leave so we ordered a taxi.
It was an experience lol and I guess that is just some of the lifestyle of East Hamptons. I'm glad I got to see it for myself but I'd never want to do it again.
