Make-Up Haul

I was running out of make-up pretty quickly so come pay day I went slightllllly overboard in Boots. I needed new foundation mainly so this is what I picked up.

I love the Rimmel Wake Me Up for summer as it has a slight shimmer to it and makes you have a gorgeous glow.
My go to foundation is the Lasting Finish by Rimmel so I thought I would stock up that.
I was actually pretty disappointed with Maybelline Better Skin. I have lots of spots and acne scars and I found that this was not a very good coverage at all.

I had read and heard so much about BB make-up and just never got round to trying any. So I thought that i'd pick up a few to try so fingers crossed I actually like them.

I have never tried using a primer under my make-up but I know that all the beauty gurus swear by it so again, I picked up a couple and hears hoping that I actually use them.

Because my skin is quite oily I find that make-up tends to look quite shiny through-out the day so I need a lot of powder to mattify my skin.

I use the Collection concealers, the light for during the day and the medium is I am wearing darker make-up. So I thought I would try the Benefit Erase Paste as i've heard so many reviews of it.

I also decided to pick up a bronzer, Rimmel Dream Sun, to try my hand at contouring.

I love love love the Benefit They're Real mascara, it is my favourite mascara and it always seems to just work really well with my lashes.

I was actually very disappointed with the Maybelline Falsies, everyone else seems to love it but I found myself having to do lots of coats to get the desired affect.

I have not tried the Scandal Eyes by Rimmel yet so I am excited to try it.

I just love Barry M for eye liner, I have always used their pencils and a couple of years ago I discovered the marker, I am terrible at liquid eyeliner so this seems to be the easiest way to get that look.

If you know of any make-up products that you think I might like then let me know down below, I would love to know what you all wear.

Later skaters
Love S xoxo

  1. Hi! I have blemish prone skin too and I use garnier oil free bb cream because I got fed up with heavy foundation and it's amazing! I have to use with concealer too but the coverage is actually pretty impressive and its fuss free application. I use for everyday and even nights out!
